Terms of service

The service
Cadence is a caseload-management and session-documentation tool for school speech-language pathologists, operated by Sentient Music Technologies, LLC ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. Cadence is currently in an invite-only beta and is offered free of charge to invited users.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. One account per person; don't share logins. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to access data that isn't theirs.
Your data and your obligations
You own the records you create; we claim no rights to them beyond what's needed to run the service, and the privacy policy governs how they're handled. If you use Cadence in connection with your employment, you are responsible for complying with your employer's and district's policies — including student-data and software-approval policies. Unless your district has reviewed and approved identified use, operate the tool de-identified (student codes, redacted uploads); the app's privacy-mode features exist to support exactly that.
AI-assisted features
Extraction and drafting features produce suggestions from data you provide. They require your review before anything is committed, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of your professional documentation.
Availability and changes
During beta the service is provided as-is, without warranties, and features may change. We'll communicate material changes. You can export your data at any time, and you can stop using the service — with a full export and account deletion on request — whenever you choose.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it (during the free beta: zero), and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Colorado law. Questions: cadence@briomoto.com.
